European Office Products Award

2012 European Office Products Awards: Lyreco won the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award

January, 30th 2012, more than 350 guests were present at the prestigious annual awards event, which is organised by OPI (Office Products International) during Paperworld in Frankfurt (Paperworld is the main international office products exhibition, with more than 1,800 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors).

During this ceremony, Lyreco has been rewarded for its overall Sustainability approach.

This is an effective recognition of our whole profession, as the entries have been judged by a panel of office products industry executives, including 3M, Avery, Brother, Esselte, Fellowes, Pilot, Quantore, OPI, etc:

The assessment criteria and elements taken into account by the judges were:
The programmes, practices and policies that enhance the company as a socially and environmentally aware operation.
The steps taken to develop a more responsible corporate culture. This could be green initiatives, educational/motivational initiatives for staff or customers, training, etc.
The additional schemes to improve the operational impact, such community initiatives and joint ventures with NGOs.
The effective monitoring of the Sustainability actions

Through its press release, OPI said “Judges praised Lyreco as a company that lives, works and breathes its approach to CSR, consistent in everything it does”.

Definitively, this award is a source of pride for all the Lyreco staffs who contribute on a daily basis to our Sustainability scheme.
